Is there jamming at the Industrial Strength Bluegrass Festival?

The answer is a resounding YES! There is plenty of music onstage and off stage at our event. Enjoy Gold Tone Music Group's Jam Session Central, an expanded area for pickers. It's open during festival hours for your musical pleasure! Industrial Strength Bluegrass Festival also provides a free on-site instrument check (like a coat check) presented by The Mandolin Store, so you know your instrument is safe while enjoying a performance.

What do I do when I get there?

When you arrive, you will be greeted by some of our wonderful volunteers, many of whom have been loyal members of our team for years. These fine folks will get you checked in to enjoy your entire festival experience. Go to WILL CALL if you purchased tickets in advance. If you would rather purchase tickets at the door, go to AT THE DOOR SALES to get that squared away. Our volunteers will be there to answer any last minute questions and point you in the direction of all the fun and great music!

Where is the best place to sit?

The Roberts Centre provides an intimate setting so there is not a bad seat in the house. We also offer two large screens that frame the stage so you never miss a moment of music magic! Is there food at the event?

There are concessions available the entire time inside, as well as a fantastic dinner buffet. The buffet is served 4:30-7 PM on Friday & Saturday. There is also a fun restaurant within the Roberts Centre, just off of the Holiday Inn lobby. You also may come and go from the venue as you choose if you would like to dine off property, but we aren't sure where you will find a better hot dog! No outside food or drink is permitted.

Do I have to wear my armband all weekend?

Armbands must be worn at all times. They may not be removed. Armbands that are broken are not recognized as valid admission.

Do you have festival merchandise for sale?

The Industrial Strength Bluegrass Festival is a great time to take in all of your favorite bluegrass music live and in person, but the Festival Store is on hand for you take music home with YOU along with festival merchandise including t-shirts, posters, and more! In addition, all of our featured artists will have their own merch tables set up, so you can purchase music or apparel from your favorite bands as well.

Is this event handicap accessible?

Yes! All of our seating is handicap accessible. 

Do I need to bring a chair?

You may bring your own chairs or chair cushions, or you may use the seating that is provided.

Is this event smoke and alcohol free?

Yes. This is a smoke and alcohol free event. For those who need to smoke or vape, you are free to do so outside, but no smoking or vaping while indoors. Adult beverages are served at Ralph's Garage down the hall, but are not allowed inside the festival.

Can i record the show for a friend?

There is no audio or video recording permitted. You can keep up with what is going on at the event, by following us on social media.

Is there a place to park my RV?

 Yes. There are full hookups available for your RV for $40 a night. Overnight parking for RVs (dry/no hookups) is available for $10 a night. For more details, see our TRAVEL page and scroll to the bottom.
